### Dr. David L. Epstein Award  
The award was created by Dr. Epstein’s family to perpetuate and honor his commitment to the scientific understanding and cure of glaucoma through the support of promising clinician-scientists in exceptional research environments. The $100,000 award, which is supported through the ARVO Foundation, is intended to further Dr. Epstein's long-standing determination and interest in solving the complex issues of glaucoma through well-conceived and executed scientific research focused on finding the causes and new treatments for the disease.

### Genentech Career Development Award for Emerging Vision Scientists  
The Genentech Career Development Award for Emerging Vision Scientists provides research funding to early-career investigators who have received their initial faculty appointment and are working to establish an independent vision research program. The award provides a two-year grant totaling $100,000 to support research and personnel costs.

### Bert M. Glaser, MD Award for Innovative Research in Retina  
This award is given to an early-career investigator in recognition of the discovery of a drug or technique, or the understanding of a mechanism of disease, that is novel and has profoundly changed our understanding and/or treatment of a retinal disease or condition. The $10,000 award is supported by the Glaser family through the ARVO Foundation.
